Aimee Alessi Artistry was started in 2016 by none other than Aimee herself! Since then, we have grown from just a few brides a year to a very loyal customer base. We strive to make everyone feel the best versions of themselves every time they walk through our doors. We operate out of Salon Maverick in North Canton and appreciate all the love and support we receive. We want every customer to leaves with a smile on their face and feeling a little more confident than when they walked in. I have always loved makeup. Ever since I was young, I loved the fact that I could use makeup as a created outlet to make myself and others feel beautiful on the inside and out. I started doing my friend’s makeup for their weddings twenty years ago. I saw the way makeup transformed them, and I knew that I wanted to make others feel the same way.
In 2016 I decided to pursue cosmetics as a career. I knew the area was competitive, but I also knew there was a place for me in it. I decided to enroll in beauty school at National Beauty College that followed the nationally renowned M.U.D (Makeup Designory) course load to become a certified makeup artist and licensed esthetician. This would not only teach me about professional makeup but also skincare. I quickly learned to love skincare as much as cosmetics and wanted to pursue both after graduating.
To gain experience I worked for Lancome where I worked with several skin types and ages. Starting in 2018, I began attending The Powder Group classes, where I have taken hands-on workshops from some of the most talented working artists in the industry today. After graduation, I decided to build up my clientele, so in 2019, I partnered with Salon Maverick, where I offer skincare services and makeup artistry. I love what I do and am thankful every day for the fantastic clients that I serve.
